I've always believed that animals communicate with us, or at least try to. I'm not talking about treating them like pseudo humans. I mean they have their own personalities, culture and way of thinking. I believe that we, that is humans, generally do not want to accept this that animals are capable of feelings or thoughts, otherwise we could not, in all good conscience, treat them as we do. I'm not sure about 'animal communicators' but this video of a black leopard rescued from a European zoo gives pause to reconsider the validity of communicating directly with an animal.
My sister, Ann Waterhouse, talks to horses. I know that I have, though not so literally as this. I do believe in the power of names. I did not realise animals have the same beliefs. :D
If you live in the great southeast of Queensland and are having problems with your horse or dog get in touch with Ann. She's quite generous with her time because she does what she does for the animal. Her facebook page is here: https://www.facebook.com/harmonyfieldsequinecare
